NDIS Strategic Review of services

Delivering expanded and better NDIS services country SA (strategic planning)

Client:
Country and Outback Health

COBH currently provides NDIS services across four NDIS service districts in regional, remote and very remote South Australia. Like many NDIS providers, there have been service challenges, particularly in regional and remote locations where workforce supply challenges are more prevalent. The objective of this project was to complete a review of COBH’s NDIS service delivery and present a staged roadmap to address any gaps identified.

Activites Included

  • NDIS Market Analysis
  • Service utilisation data analysis
  • Stakeholder consultation
  • Shared findings workshop

Process

A key part of the process included a half-day workshop to understand:

  • Key issues and challenges for staff when providing services to NDIS participants
  • Opportunities for COBH in the NDIS market
  • COBH competitors in the market
  • What success for COBH would look like

This allowed the review to correlate the experiences with the findings from the market and data analysis to ensure that the NDIS roadmap was informed by on-the-ground experience.

Outcome

The review delivered a staged roadmap to improve the reach and sustainability of NDIS services in regional SA. It presented a staged and logical plan of activities to ensure the required organisational building blocks were in place for successful NDIS service delivery.
