Darren Button
Director and Principal Consultant

Darren has worked in the health and disability sectors for 20 years, including executive leadership positions in Government and not for profits spanning acute care, mental health, NDIS and residential aged care. As a consultant, Darren has delivered projects of national significance (e.g. Development of the National Drug Strategy; Evaluation of the National Perinatal Depression Initiative) as well as place-based projects enhancing service design and planning to improve outcomes at a local level.

Leah Wills
Principal Consultant

Leah has more than 20 years’ experience as a human services manager and project manager. She has worked in the public hospital system and for both NDIS and Aged Care providers. Leah is a Masters-level physiotherapist with previous experience in hospital, rehabilitation, and community settings. Leah is results orientated, and has a decisive, collaborative, & consultative style. She is highly professional and thrives when bringing people together to achieve shared outcomes.

Emily Bowman
Senior Consultant

Emily is a Masters-level counsellor by training and brings excellent relationship building and communication skills to projects. A strategic and practical problem solver, Emily designs solutions that are tailored to each client’s service context, meeting both program outcomes and stakeholder needs. Emily brings her passion for deep active listening, quality, authenticity, and good governance to each project.

Charlotte Paton
Evaluation Design Lead

Charlotte brings 15 years of research and analytical experience in program/service evaluation and outcomes and impact measurement. Her roles with the not-for-profit sector (youth, housing, education and employment) and as a health management consultant have demonstrated her ability to distil causation and attribution from complex programs and datasets.

Stacie Walker
Consultant

Stacie is driven by working towards the development of sustainable solutions and impact measurement drawn from her previous roles in health research and not-for-profit (youth housing, education and employment) organisations. Her expertise covers the design of service models, logic models, client journeys, impact measurement methods, data collection, analysis and visual presentation.

Jess Townsend
Research Analyst

Jess has a Bachelor of Psychology (honours in cognitive neuroscience) and has experience in a range of research methodologies in both academic and service delivery settings. Jess has a passion for building human health and well-being in diverse contexts. As a consultant at HealthQ Jess has developed a reputation for robust problem solving and critical thinking skills on both complex conceptual and practical challenges.
